Guided by our values of Start with the Customer, Simplicity for Speed, Community of Individuals, and Collaborate to Win, we’re building a culture where people can contribute new ideas, make a meaningful impact, and help shape the future of telecommunications in Australia.

About the opportunity:

This is a newly created role with the opportunity to help build and mature More’s Revenue & Cost Assurance function as the business continues to scale. As Revenue & Cost Assurance Lead, you will play a critical role in identifying revenue leakage, cost leakage, billing discrepancies, pricing issues, margin risks and process gaps across a growing customer base.

Working closely with the Head of Billing & Revenue Assurance, you’ll lead and develop a Manila-based team while helping shape the function’s future operating model, reporting framework and control environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data and delivering improvements that strengthen revenue, margin and customer outcomes.

You’ll work across billing, finance, product, commercial, operations, technology and wholesale suppliers to identify issues, quantify financial impact and support remediation through to successful resolution.

You’ll be successful in this role if you:

  • Have strong analytical thinking and numerical accuracy, with a natural ability to spot discrepancies across large or complex data sets and ensure data integrity.
  • Bring a problem-solving mindset, investigate issues end to end, identify root causes and translate findings into practical remediation actions.
  • Are comfortable working independently and challenging outcomes objectively when the evidence does not align.
  • Communicate complex findings clearly to operational and senior stakeholders through meaningful reporting and actionable insights.
  • Can lead and support a remote team by setting priorities, reviewing quality and building capability.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business, building trusted relationships and influencing positive outcomes.
  • Manage competing priorities and follow issues through to resolution, including retesting completed fixes.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities, balancing multiple tasks and responding to evolving business needs.

About you:

We don’t expect you to tick every box, but we’re looking for someone with strong analytical capability, commercial curiosity, and the confidence to work through complex issues from start to finish:

  • Expertise in revenue assurance, cost assurance, billing, finance operations, audit, commercial operations, data analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong working knowledge of billing platforms, ERP systems and large data sets to analyse outcomes, investigate discrepancies and support assurance activities.
  • Experience reconciling and validating data across billing, operational, wholesale and reporting systems to identify risks, exceptions and leakage opportunities.
  • Solid understanding of revenue leakage, cost leakage and billing discrepancies across complex data sets.
  • Hands-on experience with customer billing, pricing, discounts, campaigns, supplier charges, usage and margin analysis.
  • Strong investigative skills, with the ability to identify root causes and quantify financial impact to support business decisions.
  • Demonstrated success translating findings into practical recommendations and working with stakeholders to drive remediation and improvement.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring a team while maintaining a hands-on approach.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to a range of stakeholders.
  • Exposure to telecommunications, utilities or similar environments will be highly regarded.

Key focus areas in your first few months:

You’ll focus on building context, creating visibility and delivering early impact. Your priorities will include:

  • Develop a strong understanding of More’s billing, revenue assurance and wholesale cost processes.
  • Partner with the Manila Revenue & Cost Assurance team to strengthen governance, quality standards and ways of working.
  • Identify and quantify revenue and cost leakage opportunities, and support remediation activities.
  • Improve reporting and visibility of financial risks, issues and opportunities.
  • Help strengthen and mature the Revenue & Cost Assurance function as the business continues to grow

What we offer:

  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements that support work-life balance, wellbeing, and collaboration.
  • 14 weeks paid parental leave as per the parental policy.
  • Free internet and mobile plan.
  • An additional day of paid leave to celebrate your birthday, plus a gift voucher.
  • Free access to confidential counselling and 24/7 wellbeing support through our EAP.
