More about More:
More and Tangerine are fast-growing Australian-owned telecommunications brands delivering high-quality NBN, mobile, voice, and business connectivity solutions to customers across Australia. Our mission is simple: to make connectivity easy to understand, so customers can spend more time enjoying their services and less time navigating the complexities of telco.
Backed by More’s strategic partnership with Commonwealth Bank, we’re reaching more Australians, investing in better digital experiences and creating a challenger telco that is simpler, smarter and more customer focused. Guided by our values of Start with the Customer, Simplicity for Speed, Community of Individuals, and Collaborate to Win, we’re building a culture where people can contribute new ideas, make a meaningful impact, and help shape the future of telecommunications in Australia.
About the opportunity:
More is delivering a significant telecommunications specific compliance program of work focused on strengthening governance, risk management, regulatory alignment, process discipline, and operational accountability across the business. The program will involve changes to ways of working, decision-making, documentation, controls, systems, processes, and operating model expectations. The Change & Communications Lead will play a critical role in leading the people-side of this program through influence, ensuring impacts are understood, stakeholders are engaged, and changes are clearly communicated and successfully adopted.
As a member of the People team, the Change & Communications Lead will partner closely with program leaders, functional teams, and stakeholders across the business to support operating model alignment, build change readiness, and deliver clear, timely communications that enable effective implementation and adoption.
You’ll be successful in this role if you:
- Develop and deliver the change strategy, approach and plans for the compliance program, considering regulatory obligations, governance requirements, operational controls and business readiness.
- Conduct change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis and readiness reviews to support successful adoption.
- Create and manage change plans, including key activities, milestones, adoption measures and communications deliverables.
- Translate program objectives into practical business impacts, clearly articulating what is changing, why it matters and how adoption will be supported.
- Develop and deliver the communications strategy, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent and tailored to impacted audiences.
- Design communications, briefing materials, leader updates and change artefacts that support understanding, engagement and adoption.
- Facilitate workshops, briefings and feedback sessions to support readiness, engagement and implementation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to program sponsors, senior leaders and workstream leads on change and communications considerations.
- Partner with project managers, functional leaders and the People team to embed changes to roles, responsibilities, processes, decision rights and ways of working.
- Identify and establish operating model impacts, including accountabilities, governance, process ownership, decision rights, handoffs and ongoing business-as-usual responsibilities.
- Monitor and report on change adoption, readiness, engagement and implementation risks, escalating issues and recommending practical interventions where required.
About you:
We don’t expect you to tick every box but we’re looking for someone with a strong foundation across several of the following skills:
- Proven experience leading change and communications for complex business, regulatory, compliance or operating model programs.
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR).
- Exceptional communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid experience influencing outcomes and driving change across cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex change and deliver practical solutions.
- Continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on adaptability and business outcomes.
- Familiarity with internal communications, operating model implementation, and change adoption is highly desirable.
- Experience in telecommunications, technology or customer-centric industries would be highly regarded.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, HR, Psychology or a related discipline.
What we offer:
- Flexible and hybrid working arrangements that support work-life balance, wellbeing, and collaboration.
- 14 weeks paid parental leave as per the parental policy.
- Free internet and mobile plan.
- An additional day of paid leave to celebrate your birthday, plus a gift voucher.
- Free access to confidential counselling and 24/7 wellbeing support through our EAP.
- A collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
- Supportive leaders and teams that value initiative, accountability, and success.
