Speech Pathologist

Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team on the Central Coast, NSW. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, making a significant impact on clients’ lives while working in a supportive environment. Responsibilities: – Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities. – Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on assessment results. – Provide therapy to clients to improve their communication and swallowing skills. – Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients. – Educate clients and their families about communication disorders and treatment options. – Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation. – Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in speech pathology. Qualifications: – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology or a related field. – Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia. – Experience in assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders. – Strong interpersonal and communication skills. – Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. – Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
