About the Role 

You will work directly with female NDIS participants who require support that enhances their independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. This role involves manual handling and hoisting, so candidates must have hands-on experience in this area.

Note: Due to participant preferences and nature of personal care involved in this role, we are seeking applications from female support workers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual handling and hoisting to assist with transfers and mobility
• Domestic support (light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation)
• Community access and transport to appointments or activities
• Social and emotional support
• Assisting with daily routines and goal-based activities
• Following care plans and working collaboratively with families and allied health professionals

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in disability, aged care, or community support (preferred)
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team
• Commitment to promoting client dignity and independence

Essential Requirements:

• Experience with manual handling and hoisting
• Experience with personal care
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• First Aid & CPR Certification (current)
• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Australian working rights
