Description

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior E&I Engineer to join our team in Perth, Australia for 6 months – with potnetial fort extension. This role is crucial for the successful execution of engineering projects, ensuring that electrical and instrumentation systems are designed, implemented, and maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience and technical expertise to support our engineering initiatives and contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems for various engineering projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure project viability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with organisational goals.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including specifications, reports, and manuals.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering.
  • Extensive Brownfield and Green project experience, including roles within major oil & gas
  • CPEng preferably or at least MIEAust and working towards acquiring
  • PowerCAD, PDMS, Smartplant Instrumentation, ETAP software skills are neccessary o fullfuill the role.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to electrical and instrumentation design.
