Vintage Cellar Hands

What You’ll Do:

• Vintage operations: crushing, pressing, ferment pump overs and additions.

• Cellar operations including transfers, racking, barrel filling/emptying

• Operation of pumps, forklifts and winery equipment

• Cleaning of tanks, equipment and work areas to maintain high levels of cellar hygiene.

Vintage Laboratory Assistant

What You’ll Do:

• Routine chemical analysis of wines and ferments including: pH, TA, VA, SO2, Be, RS

• Calibration and QA checks of Lab equipment and procedures

• Sampling from tanks and barrels

• Cellar work such as additions, ferment management, cellar hygiene

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous winery experience is a plus

• High-Risk Forklift Licence and experience is required for most roles

• Attention to detail and a strong safety mindset.

• Flexibility and a willingness to learn.

• Team player with a reliable work ethic.

Details:

• Start date: Early March 2027.

• Duration: 6-8 weeks – Until vintage completion (estimated late April).

• Availability for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

• International applicants must hold a valid working visa.

• Remuneration is in accordance with et Australian Wine Industry Award and dependent upon experience.

• Applicants require the ability to organize own accommodation and transport
