Description

Merri‑bek Early Years Management (MEYM) is growing and evolving, with a clear focus on strengthening our systems and supporting our people. We are seeking a skilled Project & Administration Officer to uplift documentation, enhance digital workflows, and support organisational readiness ahead of potential 2027 service transitions.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident working across digital systems and structured workflows. You will work closely with the General Manager to support workforce compliance, HR system configuration, induction development, and transition documentation.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop documentation — including transition templates, onboarding materials and service‑facing resources
  • Support digital HR processes — maintaining staff compliance records and helping streamline onboarding workflows
  • Maintain workforce records — ensuring staff details, clearances and training are accurately updated
  • Assist with policy updates — including child safety alignment and governance improvements
  • Prepare workforce documentation — such as end‑of‑year contracts and compliance paperwork
  • Develop induction content — supporting MEYM’s online induction module and staff learning resources
  • Support digital systems — including SharePoint, intranet content and website updates
  • Provide administrative support — assisting the leadership team with day‑to‑day tasks and coordination

About you:

  • Detail‑oriented, organised and confident managing multiple tasks
  • Skilled in digital systems and comfortable learning new platforms
  • Experienced in administrative or project support roles
  • Strong in written communication and documentation
  • Able to work independently and maintain accuracy
  • Committed to child safety and high‑quality practice

Contract details:

  • 6‑month contract (September 2026 – 28 February 2027)
  • 0.6 FTE (approx. 22.8 hours per week)
  • Gowanbrae office, with free parking
  • Reports to: General Manager
