ABOUT THE ROLE

  

The Business Analyst & IT Specialist exists to serve as the primary point of contact for IT operations within MESHKI and to drive forward key technology projects and improvements. Reporting to the Technology Manager, the role’s main focus is to provide a seamless IT experience by managing our IT service provider, ensuring SLA compliance and completion of projects. The role also expands to support business analysis, process discovery, and actively finding opportunities for efficiency and automation across all teams within the business. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Serving as the primary liaison between MESHKI and external Managed Service Providers
  • Monitoring IT support tickets, ensuring SLAs are met and escalations are handled promptly
  • Acting as the go to person for internal staff regarding IT escalation issues, access requests, and hardware needs
  • Managing user onboarding and offboarding processes from an IT perspective
  • Assisting in planning, coordinating, and executing projects including system migrations, office setups, and process changes
  • Identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for technological improvement across departments
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements for new software or automation initiatives
  • Developing clear, user friendly guides, policies, and training materials
  • Tracking and reporting on MSP performance metrics to the Technology Manager

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING

  • Proven technical experience, knowledge of IT operations, and proficiency in managing relationships with Managed Service Providers
  • Strong business analysis skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and gather requirements for automation
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a bias for clarity and the ability to translate technical complexity into plain business language
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach to problem solving, always looking for practical, maintainable solutions
  • A collaborative and approachable attitude, fostering a culture where staff feel comfortable asking for help
  • Familiarity with AI adoption and process efficiency initiatives is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
