Merriwa Industries is seeking an organised, customer-focused and proactive Business Support Coordinator to join our Packaging division on a full-time basis.

The role can be based at our Wodonga or Wangaratta site.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing administration, customer service and operational support.

Working closely with our Production, Warehouse and Leadership teams, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring orders are processed efficiently, customer expectations are exceeded and day-to-day operations run smoothly.

About the role

As the Business Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating administration and operational support activities across our Packaging division, including:

  • Managing production and warehouse data accurately and efficiently
  • Planning and processing customer orders
  • Coordinating stock orders and transport schedules
  • Supporting end-of-month stocktakes and reporting
  • Maintaining customer relationships and delivering exceptional service
  • Processing invoicing and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Providing administrative support to production and warehouse teams
  • The role will require regular travel to our Wangaratta/Wodonga sites, where a pool car will be available for your use.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain coordination or a similar operational support role; or
  • Can demonstrate a high level of proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
  • Possesses exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Has a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Can work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Has experience in administration, customer service, supply chain or business support roles.

Experience within a manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment and knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems will be highly regarded. Relevant qualifications in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Customer Service are desirable.
