Position Title: Sanitation Officer (Cleaning)

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Officer to join our team in Heathwood.
About the Role
The Sanitation Officer is responsible for the consistent and compliant cleaning of all areas within the Heathwood facility. This includes areas adjacent to production environments, employee spaces (change rooms, breakrooms, offices, washrooms), and general facility zones. This role is critical to maintaining a hygienic and contamination-free environment in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across production and facility areas in line with GMP/GACP standards.
- Perform scheduled cleaning and sanitation of production zones, staff amenities, and common areas.
- Complete cleaning logs and records accurately and on time.
- Safely handle and use approved cleaning chemicals, PPE, and equipment
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and consumables.
- Comply with workplace health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Report issues, hazards, or non-compliance to management.
- Contribute positively to workplace culture and company values.
Skills & Experience:
- Highschool diploma required
- 1-3 years’ experience in cleaning or janitorial, ideally in a healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated environment
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain strict hygiene standards
- National Police Check
- Medical Clearance
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail, dependable, professional, and good time management skills
- Punctual and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically demanding tasks (e.g., standing for long periods, bending, manual cleaning, and lifting up to 15kgs).
