Description

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Office Assistant to join our Shared Services team on a full-time basis. This entry-level opportunity offers hands-on experience within a busy law firm, providing exposure to a range of administrative and operational duties while developing valuable professional skills in a supportive team environment.

This role is ideal for a recent school leaver or someone looking to start their career in administration. Reporting to both the Office Manager and Operations Manager, you’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the firm, gaining broad exposure across legal support, office administration, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process all inbound and outbound mail, including date stamping and internal delivery
  • Organise couriers and follow up to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain stationery and kitchen supplies, reordering as needed
  • Assist with photocopying, scanning, and document collation or presentation requests
  • Provide reception relief and manage incoming calls and messages
  • Maintain meeting rooms and assist with tea/coffee preparation for meetings
  • Perform outside duties such as hand deliveries
  • Support legal teams with administrative tasks and file management

About You

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professional presentation and telephone manner
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Highly organised with good time management

Previous admin experience is a bonus, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key.
