The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant with a background in professional services, ideally within legal, accounting, or client-focused environments. This role is ideally suited to someone seeking a true administrative support position who is looking to build foundational experience and develop their long-term career within the legal profession. The successful candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and a professional approach to client service. While the role is intended to be full-time, we are open to considering part-time arrangements for the right candidate, provided you are available for a minimum of three days per week.

The Role

As a key member of the team, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to our Family Law practice. Working closely with lawyers, clients, and other stakeholders, you will help manage day-to-day operations, maintain efficient workflows, and contribute to the smooth running and overall success of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing legal documents, correspondence, and court filings
  • Managing monthly invoicing, payment processing, and receipting
  • Coordinating calendars, meetings, and diary management
  • Maintaining electronic files, document records, and digital archiving
  • Handling new file openings, conflict checks, and general file administration
  • Responding to telephone enquiries and liaising with clients and legal stakeholders
  • Providing general administrative and office support as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous administration experience within legal, accounting, or professional services
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, proactive, and a collaborative team player
  • Family Law experience or exposure is highly regarded
