The Role 

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Cooroy facility, working as part of our high-performing paint shop team. You will play a key role in supporting our growing fleet and ensuring operational capability through hands-on, workshop-based work. 

Responsibilities 

  • Preparation of metallic and composite surfaces prior to coating 
  • Sub-assembly of parts and some components prior to coating 
  • Mix and apply primers and paint to aircraft surfaces in line with specifications 
  • Document and maintain accurate records of all work completed 
  • Maintain paint shop equipment and materials, including ordering consumables 
  • Ensure all work is compliant with prescribed specifications, meets safety standards, and is completed to the highest quality 

About You 

  • Cert III Aircraft Surface Refinishing or Cert III in Automotive Refinishing or equivalent trade experience 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally 
  • Motivated to perform in a disciplined, safety-focused aviation environment 
  • Proactive, reliable, and eager to contribute to a growing operation
