The Roles

Due to continued growth, MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Underground Operators – Tilt Tray Operators, Loader Operators, Excavator Operators, Telehandler Operators and Concrete Pump Operators for a major underground construction project in Central West NSW.

Depending on your experience and qualifications, your duties may include:

• Operating plant and equipment to support underground construction activities
• Loading, moving and positioning materials, equipment and components
• Operating tilt trays to transport equipment and materials
• Completing excavation and earthmoving work
• Operating telehandlers to move and place materials
• Operating concrete pumps to support underground pours
• Conducting pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
• Identifying and reporting equipment faults or maintenance requirements
• Working safely with supervisors, trades and construction crews in accordance with site procedures

About You

• Previous experience operating tilt trays, loaders, excavators, telehandlers or concrete pumps
• Underground mining or construction experience
• Relevant licences, tickets and machinery competencies for your role
• Ability to conduct pre-start inspections and identify equipment faults
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Availability to work a 2:1 roster across day and night shifts
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
