About the Role

MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Trade Assistants to support maintenance and construction activities across mining operations in Parkes. You will work alongside tradespeople assisting with mechanical, structural and general site works while ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced mining environment and is committed to safety and teamwork.

About You

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Trade Assistant in a mining environment
• Previous mine site experience is essential
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to assist multiple trades
• Excellent commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing

• HR, HC or MC Truck Licence
• Working at Heights
• Confined Spaces
• Forklift Licence
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
• Dogging or Rigging
• Excavator, Telehandler or Loader Ticket
• Other mobile plant operating tickets
