As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to help keep our manufacturing facilities safe, reliable and operating at their best.

As our Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, you’ll coordinate maintenance activities that support uninterrupted manufacturing in a highly regulated biotechnology environment.

Working closely with Manufacturing, Quality and external contractors, you’ll coordinate preventative maintenance, contractor activities, calibration, compliance and facility services that keep our site operating safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll coordinate a broad range of facilities and maintenance activities, including:

• Coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance across the site.
• Planning maintenance schedules to minimise disruption to manufacturing.
• Coordinating contractors and ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Maintaining maintenance, calibration and compliance records that are always audit-ready.
• Supporting equipment qualification and validation activities.
• Monitoring facility systems, building services and site infrastructure.
• Coordinating site security, key management and contractor access.
• Participating in an on-call roster for emergency maintenance support.
• Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance processes.

• Balance operational priorities with quality, compliance and safety.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who combines practical maintenance knowledge with excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Experience coordinating maintenance activities within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience planning preventative maintenance programs.
• Experience coordinating contractors and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar electronic maintenance systems.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience maintaining maintenance and compliance documentation.
• A current Australian Driver Licence.

Experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing or another regulated environment will be highly regarded.

A Flexible Opportunity

This position is offered on a part-time basis (minimum three days per week).

While we’re currently recruiting for a part-time position, there may be an opportunity for the role to grow into a full-time position in the future as the business continues to evolve.
