With a diverse program of events across Queensland catering to the needs of our 10,000 members, our Events and Sponsorship team are seeking a proactive Administrator to join the team.
Playing a crucial role supporting the team you will be primarily responsible for coordinating sponsor and event activities and ensuring deliverables are fulfilled in line with contractual obligations.
A typical day will see you
- Draft sponsor event briefs and manage communications to ensure timely delivery of key event information.
- Update of sponsorship records in Excel & CRM
- Generate sponsor reports
- Audit sponsorship deliverables to ensure contractual obligations are met
- Assist with preparing event documents – PowerPoint presentations, run schedules, onsite event delivery documents etc.
- Support the administration of award entries and judging processes, including entry reviews, participant communications, and coordination of judging appointments.
- Managing positive relationships with sponsors and members
- Attend some events (Brisbane and Regional Queensland)
- Identify opportunities to implement new processes, focused on improving our responsiveness to opportunities and deliverables.
- Liaise with regional teams on their event requirements

Our successful candidate will have:
- A strong administration background and be a genuine self-starter
- Flexibility to attend occasional out-of-hours events in Brisbane and Regional Queensland (if required).
- Experience in drafting reports and personalised correspondence
- Experience / interest in coordinating events
- A keen eye for detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with Sponsors and stakeholders.
- The ability to develop and efficiently implement plans and processes
- Prior events or sponsorship experience sponsorship (desirable)
- Experience using an online registration system (desirable)
- Experience using a CRM (desirable)
