The Opportunity

As a Business Analyst at Maltem, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organisation’s decision-making process by conducting thorough analysis, writing comprehensive business cases, managing stakeholders, and assessing financial risks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and technology, to drive business outcomes and ensure project success.

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
• Prepare and write detailed business cases, including cost-benefit analysis, return on investment (ROI), and risk assessments to support decision-making at various levels.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from different departments and levels of the organisation to gather requirements, manage expectations, and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and align project objectives with business goals.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks, perform financial risk assessments, and propose mitigation strategies to minimize business impact.
• Utilise data analytics tools and techniques to extract insights and provide recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to stakeholder management, financial risk assessment, and business case development.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on writing business cases, managing stakeholders, and assessing risk.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
• Solid understanding of financial concepts, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI, and financial risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience in stakeholder management, including conducting stakeholder analysis, managing expectations, and maintaining effective communication channels.
• Proficiency in using data analytics tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, compliance standards, and best practices preferred.
