What you’ll be doing

• Assisting with programming automated irrigation controllers
• Monitoring and applying irrigation using soil moisture probes, manual checks and other tools
• Assisting with fertigation (fertiliser application through irrigation systems)
• Following irrigation schedules and accurately recording all inputs
• Hands-on irrigation work: repairing valves and sprinklers, digging trenches, replacing poly pipe
• Progressing to more complex irrigation tasks as your experience grows

What we need from you

1. Previous farming experience and a genuine desire to learn irrigation
2. Physically fit and ready for labour tasks
3. Comfortable using mobile apps
4. Ability to follow irrigation/fertigation schedules and keep accurate records (after training)
5. Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
