Summary:

The Administration Assistant is a full-time position providing administrative and operational support across the business, with a particular focus on assisting the Admin & Finance Manager and broader team with day-to-day administration, finance and customer account activities. The position is responsible for completing a range of administrative and finance-related tasks accurately, efficiently and within required timeframes. The successful candidate will be expected to work with increasing independence, while seeking guidance where required and escalating matters appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administration support, including data entry, document preparation and record management.
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing, reconciliations and customer account enquiries.
  • Support banking, finance administration and month-end activities.
  • Maintain accurate financial, customer and business records within company systems.
  • Deliver professional customer service and respond to phone, email and in-person enquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls and confidentiality requirements.
  • Utilise accounting, ERP and Microsoft Office systems effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of accuracy.
