About the role
Luxe Care provides 24/7 Registered Nurse coverage for all its clients and their carers. This position is senior and a key clinical and managerial position in the Luxe Care organisation. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Senior, experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an After Hours Coordinator
This role will ensure that our valued clients and the carers who provide care services to them, receive seamless and high-end care, as well as support and service, outside standard business hours (including during weekends and public holidays).
The afterhours role involves working a combination of day and overnight on-call shifts, supporting clients and staff, as well as coordinating the Rostering Team and Registered Nurses who provide day time after hours services and care.
Using your clinical management expertise, accompanied by strong customer service skills, you will be responsible for:
- Providing general and clinical advice and support;
- Being the point of escalation for concerns;
- Assisting with the coordination of rosters;
- Managing any incidents that occur;
- In addition, you may at times be required to work directly with our clients on clinical assessments, wound care, medication management and other in home clinical care, within scope of practice.
- Care Coordinators to work Saturday and Sundays located in our Hawthorn office, with the potential work on Friday afternoons and Monday mornings
We are looking for people who
- Have clinical and managerial experience in community care, aged care or hospitals.
- 3-5 years’ experience is a must!
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude.
- Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are reliable and flexible.
- Are currently registered with AHPRA as a Division 1 Registered Nurse.
- Have a current driver’s license and access to a registered, insured and well-presented car.
- Are eligible to work in Australia & can obtain a satisfactory Police Check.
- We have shifts available for on call 5:00pm – 8:00am (Afterhours shifts)
- We also have a new day care coordinator shifts available on the weekends.
- Working from home (remotely) for some of the After Hours on-call component and being available during the weekend hours/shifts. Casual opportunity available with flexible hours.
- The right to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- Current Level 2 First Aid (required if successful)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) (required if successful)
- NDIS worker screening ID (required if successful)
