About Us
Loop IQ is a purpose-built intelligence platform helping care organisations move beyond fragmented spreadsheets and manual reporting — delivering the accuracy, auditability, and confidence that regulated environments demand. Alongside the platform sits our strategic consulting wing, guiding organisations through implementation and optimisation so the technology delivers from day one.
Why work at Loop IQ?
- Build something that matters — We’re solving a real problem in a sector that affects millions of Australians. The work you do here has a direct line to better outcomes in aged care.
- Grow with intention — We invest in our people through dedicated learning budgets, performance bonuses, and genuine wellbeing support — because great work starts with great people.
- A culture worth showing up for — We’re a small, high-trust team that values different perspectives, moves fast, and communicates openly. There’s no politics here, just good people doing meaningful work.
- Rare access, real impact — We operate at the intersection of health data, government, and enterprise. The market access and relationships we’ve built are genuinely hard to find at this stage of a company.
This is a 3-6-month contract role, open to Melbourne-based candidates only, with a minimum of two days per week in our Melbourne office. We’re happy to consider full-time or a 4-day (0.8 FTE) arrangement — whichever works better for the right person.
This is a role for someone who takes pride in catching what others miss, has strong instincts for data validation, and has the confidence to push back on a release when quality isn’t where it needs to be.
A Day in the Life
Your work will span test design, execution, automation, and release gating. One day you might be designing regression coverage for a new module and running exploratory tests against staging; the next, you’re validating an end-to-end data flow, tracking down a transformation gap, or making the go / no-go call ahead of a release. You’ll build and maintain automated tests wired into CI/CD, keep staging and UAT environments release-ready, and work closely with Engineering, Product, and Data to keep the pipeline moving without compromising on quality.
What You’ll Do
- Own QA sign-off for releases (go / no-go)
- Design and execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests
- Validate end-to-end data flows and data integrity
- Identify data issues, edge cases, and transformation gaps
- Build and maintain automated tests, including CI/CD integration
- Track and prioritise defects with Engineering and Product
- Ensure staging and UAT environments are release-ready
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Data teams
