Personal Care Assistant CASUAL

Lions Haven is a leading not-for-profit 121 bed Residential Aged Care Facility in Hope Island. Our modern facility, which includes a 20 bed secure wing, offers a safe and comfortable environment to ensure quality of life to our residents, staff and visitors. Residents have the freedom to enjoy life in a homelike atmosphere where families and friends are most welcome.

We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Personal Care Assistants for an immediate start in casual positions. If you have a caring and friendly nature, excellent communication skills and love to challenge yourself, we’d love to hear from you!

Lions Haven operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so Candidates may be required to work a combination of morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend shifts. Immediate start available for the right applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting residents with activities of daily living

Providing companionship and emotional support to residents.

Monitoring and reporting changes in residents’ physical and mental well-being.

Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.

Requirements:

Minimum certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification.

Proven experience in personal care assistance or a related field is desirable.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with the elderly.

Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions.

National Police Clearance or NDIS card (or ability to obtain one).

Covid plus booster at minimum
