Lions Haven is a leading not-for-profit 121 bed Residential Aged Care Facility in Hope Island. Our modern facility, which includes a 20 bed secure wing, offers a safe and comfortable environment to ensure quality of life to our residents, staff and visitors. We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Registered and Enrolled Nurses for an immediate start. If you have a caring and friendly nature, excellent communication skills and love to challenge yourself, we’d love to hear from you!
We are a 24/7 facility and have flexibility available regarding shifts.
Requirements of an Registered Nurse
- Must have Australian working rights
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing
- Registration with AHPRA
- NDIS Workers Screening Check OR Police Check
- Current Covid19 Vaccination including booster
- 2025 Flu Vaccination
- Experience in Aged Care (desirable)
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
Responsibilities
- Ensure all nursing procedures are performed and consistent with best practice principles.
- Ensure privacy and dignity of all residents is maintained at all times.
- Support and assist medical practitioners and allied health professionals as appropriate.
- Ensure Clinical Documentation is detailed, accurate and aligns to the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Responsibilities of and Enrolled Nurse
- Implement nursing home policies and procedures
- Be actively involved in the orientation of new staff
- Actively participate in continuous improvement program
- Provide input into the formulation and evaluation of the care plan
- Is actively involved with procedures within your scope of practice
- Monitor vital signs and symptoms, report changes
- Deliver nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse
- Coordinates team resources
