Role Type
Description
Tired of being pushed to hit KPIs instead of making a real impact?
At Lime Rainbow, we do things differently. We’re growing a truly person-centred Behaviour Support practice that believes in people over paperwork and outcomes over quotas.
We’re looking to grow our team of Registered Behaviour Support Practitioners who are ready to bring their skills, creativity, and compassion to a space that celebrates individuality, collaboration, and real change, not just ticking compliance boxes.
If you’re passionate about making a meaningful difference and want to be part of a supportive, growing team, we’d love to hear from you!
Who We Are
We’re a multidisciplinary, values-driven team supporting NDIS participants of all ages, with a strong Early Childhood Early Intervention focus.
Our work is person-centred, neuro-affirming and trauma-informed, with a focus on meaningful participation and everyday outcomes.
We start with the person, not the service.
Our values guide how we work:
- Collaboration & Respect – we work alongside participants, families and teams with openness and mutual respect.
- Cultural Responsiveness – we recognise and respect each person’s culture, identity and lived experience.
- Evidence-Based Practice – our supports are informed by current evidence, professional knowledge and individual needs.
- Continuous Learning – we keep learning, reflecting and growing so we can provide better support.
About the Role
We’re seeking Registered Behaviour Support Practitioners based in Adelaide or elsewhere in South Australia, with a particular interest in supporting children and families in Early Childhood.
This is a South Australia-based role that involves regular travel to regional and remote communities to provide face-to-face support to participants and their families. Applicants must be based in South Australia and be comfortable with frequent travel as an essential part of the position.
Where travel is required, practitioners will travel in pairs with a Therapy Assistant (TA), supporting a collaborative approach to service delivery.
We’re open to welcoming the right person in either a contractor or full-time capacity, depending on experience, suitability, and individual preferences.
While experience in Early Childhood or a degree in Early Childhood Education would be highly regarded, neither is mandatory. We welcome applications from Behaviour Support Practitioners with diverse professional backgrounds who share our values and are passionate about delivering meaningful, person-centred support.
You’ll work alongside a transdisciplinary team of passionate Behaviour Support Practitioners, Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Pathologists, all working towards real, sustainable outcomes for participants and their families.
Key Bits of the Role

- Provide practical training, coaching, and guidance to support teams, families, and carers.
- Collaborate with Therapy Assistants and other allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, person-centred support.
- Undertake regular travel across regional and remote South Australia to deliver face-to-face support, alongside a Therapy Assistant.
- Participate in regular supervision, team training, case discussions, and collaborative planning.
- Contribute your ideas and expertise to shaping how Behaviour Support should feel: practical, positive, and participant-first.
- Support participants and families to build skills, independence, and meaningful long-term outcomes.
- Enjoy flexibility, professional autonomy, and a team that understands the importance of work-life balance.
What We Offer
- Flexible Employment Options – Choose between contractor or full-time opportunities, depending on the right fit.
- Flexible Working Arrangements – Enjoy flexibility in how you manage your work, while maintaining a South Australia base and travelling regularly to support participants in regional and remote communities.

- Collaborative Team Environment – Work alongside Behaviour Support Practitioners, Therapy Assistants, OTs, and Speech Pathologists who genuinely value teamwork.

- Must be based in South Australia and willing to undertake frequent travel to regional and remote communities as part of the role.
- A strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support, trauma-informed practice, and relevant restrictive practice legislation.

- A proactive approach to participating in supervision, ongoing team training, and professional development.
- A collaborative, kind, adaptable, and flexible mindset, the Lime Rainbow way.
