Use your organisational superpowers to help save lives. Lifeline Albury Wodonga is looking for an experienced Office Manager to run the engine room of our organisation, so our crisis support, community and retail teams can focus on what matters most.

About us

Lifeline Albury Wodonga is a local not-for-profit committed to saving lives from suicide and supporting people through crisis. Alongside our crisis support services, we operate a network of retail stores that help fund our work in the community.

About the role

Reporting to the CEO, the Office Manager leads the administration function and keeps the organisation running efficiently — from governance and compliance to HR, facilities, IT and finance. It’s a varied, hands-on leadership role at the centre of everything we do.

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations — systems, records, reception, procurement and budgets
  • Provide high-level executive support to the CEO, including diary management, minute-taking and reporting
  • Maintain governance documentation, policies and statutory registers, and support audits and accreditation
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, employee records and payroll support with our external HR provider
  • Manage facilities, contractors, asset registers and building security across our sites
  • Act as the key liaison with our IT provider on support requests, hardware and system projects
  • Process purchase orders and invoices, monitor budgets, and coordinate supplier and insurance renewals
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical records in line with privacy and retention requirements

About you

  • Proven leadership experience managing office operations, including WHS, with strong accountability for results
  • Exceptional organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with a strong customer service focus
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365
  • A track record of building and improving business systems, with a proactive, can-do approach
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities with adaptability and sound judgement
  • Experience coordinating projects through effective collaboration
  • A high level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Experience in the not-for-profit or community services sector is desirable

  • Current NSW Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
  • National Police Check
  • Current driver’s licence
