For more than 45 years, Life Education Victoria has been empowering children to thrive through engaging, curriculum-aligned health education.
Best known for our much-loved giraffe, Healthy Harold, we visit schools across Victoria delivering interactive programs that explore topics including:
- Physical health and wellbeing

- Respectful relationships

The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and engaging casual Health & Wellbeing Facilitator to deliver our programs to primary schools across the North/ North East & South East regions.
Every day is different. One morning you might be helping Foundation students learn healthy habits with Healthy Harold, while later you’re encouraging older students to think critically about online safety, friendships or making positive choices.
If you love presenting, connecting with people and creating memorable learning experiences, this could be the perfect role for you.
We provide comprehensive paid training, ongoing mentoring and all the resources you need to feel confident in the role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging and interactive health & wellbeing education sessions to primary school students.
- Bring learning to life through activities, discussion and storytelling.
- Build positive relationships with teachers, school staff and the wider school community.
- Represent Life Education Victoria with professionalism, enthusiasm and warmth.
- Travel between schools within your allocated region.
- Be part of a passionate team making a genuine difference in children’s lives.
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Love working with children.
- Have a confident, engaging and energetic presentation style.
- Enjoy creating fun and interactive learning experiences.
- Can think on your feet and adapt to different classroom environments.
- Build positive relationships with students, teachers and colleagues.
- Are organised, reliable and able to work independently.
You’ll also need:
- A current Employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one; we’ll cover the cost).
- A current driver’s licence.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
- Experience in education, health, youth work, community engagement or facilitation is highly regarded, but not essential. We’re looking for the right person; we can teach you the rest.
