At Life Care, we are driven by our vision to support older South Australians in shaping their own positive ageing, expressed through meaningful connections and participation. For over 75 years, we’ve embraced ageing, driven by values of respect, integrity, engagement, teamwork, and excellence. Join us to make a positive impact in the lives of older South Australians and grow your career within a team that truly values people.
The Role:
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in our Payneham clinic with the opportunity for some community work, providing high-quality care to aged care clients, including those supported through Support at Home (SAH), Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), NDIS and private services.
You will play a vital role in assessing, treating, and supporting older adults to maintain and improve their mobility, function, and overall quality of life. Whether delivering therapy in our Payneham clinic or directly in clients’ homes, you’ll help them stay active, independent, and engaged in daily life.
This role is ideal for an Exercise Physiologist who enjoys seeing the long-term impact of their work and wants to help older South Australians remain active, confident and independent.
The Space:
One of the key things that sets Life Care apart is the space and equipment available to support both clients and clinicians.
Instead of being confined to a treatment room, you’ll have access to a fully equipped rehabilitation gym featuring cable machines, a leg press, and a range of cardio equipment, along with a dedicated Clinical Pilates studio equipped with reformers, parallel bars, larger plinths, and a variety of functional rehabilitation tools.
This enables you to deliver targeted, meaningful interventions at the right time—whether that’s supporting someone to rebuild confidence after a fall, improve strength and balance, manage a chronic condition, or maintain independence in their home.

• Develop and progress individualised exercise programs

• Educate clients and their families on strategies for self-management, mobility, and chronic disease management
• Support rehabilitation and reablement goals, empowering clients to maintain an active and independent lifestyle
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with aged care quality standards and funding requirements
