Fitter – Level 4 | Hydraulic Experience

We’re seeking a highly skilled Fitter – Level 4 with strong hydraulic experience to join our client’s team in Pakenham, VIC.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced fitter who can confidently diagnose, maintain, repair and troubleshoot complex hydraulic and mechanical systems with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair and maintain hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot complex hydraulic faults and machinery issues
• Install and commission hydraulic components and equipment
• Read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical drawings
• Carry out preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Perform fitting, assembly and mechanical repair work
• Identify faults and recommend appropriate repairs
• Work independently and support other trades where required
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

About You:

• Extensive experience as a Fitter – Level 4
• Strong hydraulic experience is essential
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems, components and fault finding
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
• Confident reading hydraulic and mechanical drawings
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Relevant trade qualification highly regarded
