Fitter – Level 3 | Hydraulic Experience

We’re looking for an experienced Fitter – Level 3 with strong hydraulic experience to join our client’s team in Pakenham, VIC.

This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled fitter who is confident working with hydraulic systems, machinery and mechanical components, with the ability to diagnose and repair issues with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain and repair hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Diagnose hydraulic faults and mechanical issues
• Carry out fitting, assembly and maintenance work
• Read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical drawings
• Inspect, test and troubleshoot hydraulic components
• Use hand and power tools and workshop equipment
• Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs
• Work closely with other trades and production teams
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

About You:

• Previous experience as a Fitter – Level 3
• Strong hydraulic experience is essential
• Good understanding of hydraulic systems, components and fault finding
• Able to read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical drawings
• Confident working independently with minimal supervision
• Strong mechanical problem-solving skills
• Reliable, safety-conscious and team-oriented
• Relevant trade qualification highly regarded
