Fitter – Level 1

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Fitter – Level 1 to join our client’s team in Pakenham, VIC. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic mechanical skills who is keen to develop their experience in a hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with fitting, assembly and basic mechanical maintenance
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Read and follow basic drawings and instructions
• Assist experienced fitters with repairs and maintenance
• Perform general workshop duties and keep the work area clean
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures

About You:

• Previous mechanical, fitting or workshop experience preferred
• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and tools
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship experience is advantageous
