About the role
We are seeking a full-time Communications Coordinator to provide practical, hands-on support across the LPLC’s internal and external communications. Reporting to the General Manager, People and Culture, and working closely with the Communications Manager, you will help deliver clear, consistent and engaging communications that support the LPLC’s reputation as a trusted insurer and risk partner to the legal profession.
In this delivery-focused role, you will:
- work with subject matter experts to update and maintain website and intranet content, including archiving and consolidating material, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
- support website enhancement activities and coordinate content for approval and publication
- prepare and distribute newsletters using Campaign Monitor
- maintain distribution lists and prepare engagement reports
- coordinate communication tasks, schedules, approvals and follow-up activities
- create content and support People Leaders to produce content for internal communications to ensure staff are kept informed on business priorities
- create and enhance Microsoft Word templates and PowerPoint presentations in-line with brand guidelines
- format and review external documents and provide day-to-day administrative support to the communications function.
About you
You are an organised, detail-focused communications professional who enjoys turning plans into well-executed outcomes. You take a practical and collaborative approach, communicate clearly, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.
You will bring:
- experience in a communications, content, corporate affairs, or media role, ideally in a professional, complex, or regulated environment
- strong writing, editing, proofreading and content-formatting skills
- experience supporting content updates, publishing, coordination and communication delivery
- confidence using Microsoft 365, particularly Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- experience with website content management systems and email marketing platforms, such as Campaign Monitor
- strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of internal stakeholders
- a flexible, accountable and customer-focused approach, with a willingness to learn and contribute as part of one team.
Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism, digital media or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
