OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The Operations & Logistics Manager is responsible for the operational backbone of KOJO’s operational delivery across APAC. You will lead the planning, coordination and continuous improvement of logistics, systems, inventory and operational processes that enable world-class sport presentation, broadcast and live event delivery.  

You are an operational leader who thrives on building structure, solving complex logistical challenges and ensuring teams have the resources, equipment and information required to deliver exceptional outcomes safely, efficiently and on budget. 

Working closely with the GM of Delivery, Head of Technical Services, Producers and Technical Managers, you will drive operational excellence across KOJO’s growing APAC and global portfolio while developing scalable systems that support future growth.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Equipment & Logistics

• Asset management, technical logistics, OB truck/s, fly away kits and supplier management.

Systems, Processes & Reporting

• Develop scalable processes, utilisation reporting and operational planning.

Operational

• Drive continuous improvement across production systems and processes.
• Ensure high standards of safety, risk management and compliance.
• Model KOJO’s values and commitment to creative excellence.
• Coordinate national technical resources and travel logistics.
• Support in onboarding of new technical staff across KOJO logistics and operations
• Manage forecasting and asset systems.
• Maintain WHS standards and operational contingencies.
• Track, audit and manage technical assets and logistics.
• Oversee servicing, storage and maintenance schedules for equipment, OB trucks and Fly Away Kits.
• Manage preferred supplier relationships and procurement efficiencies.
• Develop and continuously improve operational systems and SOPs.
• Report on utilisation, pipeline, equipment capacity and operational risks.
• Provide leadership with accurate asset reporting and forward planning of assets and related logistics as well as purchasing opportunities.
• Manage budget of logistics and operational freight charges.
• Manage technical cross-hire charges  on projects.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

• Out of hours work, intrastate, interstate and potentially international travel may be required in order to meet the requirements of the role.

• Where pre-approved by your manager and in accordance with our policy, any additional hours worked to meet our operational requirements in excess of reasonable additional hours will accrue time in lieu.
