About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Creative Director – Fan Experiences to join KOJO’s Global Creative Studio and lead the creative development and delivery of world-class live sport experiences across APAC and global markets.

Reporting to the Group Creative Director, you will lead projects from initial strategy and concept development through to production and onsite execution. Your work will shape fan experiences across stadium presentation, match day entertainment, fan festivals, precinct activations, ceremonies, commercial partner activations and major sporting events.

You will work closely with Producers, Strategists, Account Directors and multidisciplinary creative teams to ensure ideas are innovative, engaging, commercially viable and executable. You will also embrace AI workflows and emerging technologies to enhance creative development, accelerate ideation and unlock new audience experiences.

About You

You’re an experience-led creative leader with a genuine passion for sport, fan culture and live environments. You’re equally comfortable developing bold ideas, presenting to clients and working onsite with production teams to bring those ideas to life.

You thrive in fast-paced environments, understand both the creative and production process, and can confidently lead projects and client relationships independently.

You’ll bring:

  • At least five years’ experience in Creative Direction, Experience Design, Sport Marketing or a related discipline
  • Proven experience delivering live experiences from concept through to execution
  • A strong understanding of live event production, technical requirements and operational delivery
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary creative teams
  • Exceptional presentation, storytelling and client relationship skills
  • Experience using AI workflows, generative AI tools and emerging creative technologies
  • The ability to balance creative ambition with production and commercial realities
  • A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach

Experience within sport, major events, entertainment, stadium presentation, fan engagement or a creative agency environment will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end creative development of live sport experiences, from initial briefing through to onsite delivery
  • Develop creative strategies, concepts and experience narratives for stadium entertainment, fan festivals, precinct activations, ceremonies and major sporting events
  • Translate strategic and commercial objectives into compelling, fan-first experiences
  • Present creative concepts and experience narratives to clients and key stakeholders
  • Partner closely with Producers to ensure concepts are practical, deliverable and commercially viable
  • Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams across Strategy, Design, Motion, Technical and Production
  • Maintain high creative standards across multiple concurrent projects
  • Lead and support creative workshops, ideation sessions and new business pitches
  • Build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships
  • Work alongside production teams throughout planning, rehearsals and live delivery
  • Use AI workflows and emerging technologies to enhance ideation, creative development and production efficiency
