Description

Summary

We’re building a tech-native financial planning business for a segment the industry has largely ignored: HENRY households — High Earners, Not Rich Yet — with combined incomes of $200,000–$400,000. They’re too complex for free guidance and too early in their wealth journey to be well served by traditional planning practices built around asset-based fees.

We’re closing that gap with a digital-first advice model: a diagnostic tool that benchmarks a client’s financial position, purpose-built calculators, and a technology platform that lets our advisers spend their time on judgement, not paperwork.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct comprehensive financial assessments for clients to identify their financial needs and goals.
  • Develop tailored financial plans that align with clients’ objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Provide ongoing advice and support to clients, adjusting financial plans as necessary.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations and market trends to offer informed advice.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other financial professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client financial planning.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and recommendations to clients.

What you’ll need

  • FASEA/financial adviser exam compliance and current registration on the Financial Advisers Register
  • Relevant degree or approved qualification under the current education standards for financial advisers
  • Solid technical experience across superannuation, life insurance, and managed investments/fund advice, ideally including SMSF
  • A track record of preparing and reviewing SOAs to a high standard, with genuine command of the best interests duty — not just the paperwork behind it
  • Comfort working with technology-assisted advice tools and a willingness to challenge or override automated outputs where they don’t reflect a client’s real circumstances

What would set you apart

  • Interest in working with a younger, high-income, lower-asset client base rather than a traditional retiree/pre-retiree book
  • Comfort operating in a startup environment — helping shape process rather than following an established playbook
  • Eager to change the game, offer solutions to All Australians

What we offer

  • A genuine leadership role in a business built from the ground up, not a slot in an existing hierarchy
  • The chance to shape how technology and advice work together, rather than retrofitting tech onto legacy process
