JRM Resources is a proudly family-owned and operated business based in Waroona, Western Australia. With over 40 years of industry experience, we have built a strong local workforce delivering Civil, Mining and Forestry services across the Peel Region and surrounding areas.

JRM Resources is continuing to grow across our workshop and site operations, and we’re looking for experienced Safety Advisors to join our team.

This is a hands-on, full-time role that will see you working across our site operations supporting our crews and working closely with supervisors and management to drive a strong safety culture.

We currently have roles available in the local Peel region and on our site in Boddington.

What you’ll be doing

• Conducting site inspections, audits and risk assessments
• Providing hands-on safety support, coaching and guidance to crews
• Delivering toolbox talks and promoting safe work practices
• Developing, reviewing and implementing Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
• Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions
• Maintaining safety records, reports and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, client and site requirements
• Working with supervisors and crews to identify hazards and improve safety outcomes
• Supporting safety requirements across our workshop, current sites and upcoming projects

What we’re looking for

• Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Safety Advisor role within mining, civil or mobile plant environments
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and incident investigation
• Experience with Traffic Management Plans and traffic management requirements
• Experience working around civil works, heavy equipment and mobile plant
• Strong communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach to safety
• Ability to build positive relationships with crews, supervisors, management and clients
• Willing and able to travel between sites based on operational requirements
