About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team on a permanent part-time basis (24–25 hours per week). Based at our Mooroolbark headquarters, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing supplier payments and building positive relationships with our vendors.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in keeping the finance function running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
- Prepare and process payment runs
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies
- Respond to supplier and internal stakeholder enquiries
- Maintain accurate supplier records and account information
- Produce project cost reports
- Manage intercompany recharges
- Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliations
- Ensure adherence to company policies and financial controls
- Support the broader Finance team with administrative and accounting tasks as required
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable position
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Confidence using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- A proactive, positive, and team-oriented approach
