We are looking for Russian-speaking Home Care Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to our clients across the Eastern Suburbs and surrounding areas.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Home Care Support Worker, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual support plans. Duties may include:

• Build warm and respectful relationships with older clients
• Provide personal care (e.g. showering, grooming, dressing)
• Assist with domestic tasks (e.g. cleaning, laundry, meal preparation)
• Offer transport and social support (e.g. shopping, medical appointments)
• Provide companionship and wellbeing-focused activities
• Communicate effectively in both Russian and English to support clients and their families

This is a Monday to Friday role with occasional weekend work and requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours/week, with availability for at least 3 full days or 5 half days.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care/Community)
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates
• Valid NSW driver’s licence and reliable, fully insured vehicle
• Fluent in Russian and English

Desirable:

• Experience in Aged Care, Community Support or a similar field
• Understanding of person-centred care and a genuine interest in supporting others
• Respect for cultural diversity and sensitivity working with Jewish clients
• Experience working with vulnerable people and CALD (Culturally Linguistically Diverse) background
• Commitment to professional conduct, confidentiality, and JewishCare values

• Aged Care Banning Order Clearance
• NDIS Worker Check
• Medical fitness assessment (if applicable)
• Ongoing renewal of mandatory clearances/required documentation as required
