Description

Senior Product Manager | Full-time | Port Melbourne or North Ryde

Why JET Charge?

JET Charge is helping lead one of the most significant shifts in energy and transport in a generation.

Our mission is clear: to provide EV charging at no cost, with no emissions. We’re building Australia’s electrified future by developing the infrastructure and technology that makes clean transport more accessible through innovation in charging, grid, and energy management systems.

As Australia’s leading EV charging company, we work across the infrastructure, software, and technical delivery that sit behind complex commercial charging projects. This is an opportunity to join a business shaping how EV charging will be designed into public locations, commercial sites and infrastructure projects in the years ahead.

The Role

This is an opportunity to lead a product that is already making a difference and help shape where it goes next.

As Senior Product Manager, you’ll own the platform that monitors and manages EV charging networks in real time – live status, fault detection and remote recovery across every major charger brand. It’s used by large fleet operators, retail and depot networks, and public charging operators across the rapidly evolving EV charging industry. You’ll set its direction, identify key opportunities and turn customer needs into meaningful product improvements.

In your first year you’ll:

  • Own how reliably our customers’ networks run. Charge success rate, uptime and time to resolution are the numbers this product is judged on, and you’ll set the strategy for moving them.
  • Move the platform from reactive to predictive — catching faults and recovering them automatically before a driver is ever affected.
  • Shape which capabilities are core, which become add-ons, and what we monetise as the product moves to a tiered model.

You’ll report to the Head of Product & Technology and work alongside a small team of product managers, with dedicated product design support.

You’ll work closely with engineering from problem definition through to delivery, and directly with customers and teams across JET Charge. Your perspective will help shape the roadmap, how we understand customers and how we prioritise opportunities that improve the EV charging experience.

What You’ll Bring

You’ll already have experience operating at a Senior Product Manager level and be comfortable owning a technically complex B2B product in an enterprise environment.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Substantial experience in product management, including at least 2 years owning products with technical or operational complexity
  • Strong product fundamentals across strategy, discovery, prioritisation and metrics
  • Experience working directly with large enterprise customers and senior stakeholders
  • The ability to work effectively with engineers and technical teams without needing to be the technical expert
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to create alignment across different teams
  • A practical understanding of AI and how it can be used effectively in SaaS products in product management.

Experience in EV charging, energy, or automotive is not required. We’re more interested in strong product management capability and experience working with complex enterprise software.
