What You’ll Be Doing
Identifying and developing new business opportunities across public EV charging locations.
Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities across target sectors, locations and customer segments.
Prospecting consistently and managing opportunities through the sales process.
Building professional, trust-based relationships with prospects, site owners, partners and key decision-makers.
Communicating JET Charge’s value proposition clearly across different buyer groups and customer situations.
Qualifying opportunities and managing pricing, deal terms and commercial discussions within agreed parameters.
Maintaining accurate CRM records, following up leads and progressing opportunities in a disciplined way.
Working with Marketing, Delivery and internal teams to bring the right people into customer conversations at the right time.
Managing handovers to account management and delivery teams in a way that preserves customer relationship continuity.
Sharing market observations, customer insights and competitive feedback to help sharpen targeting, positioning and segment strategy.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in business development, sales, site acquisition, partnerships, project management or a similar commercial role.
- Experience working across EV charging, telco, property, infrastructure, SaaS or another complex B2B environment.
- A track record of building pipeline, developing opportunities or securing new customer, partner or site relationships.
- Strong commercial judgement, including the ability to qualify opportunities and manage straightforward commercial discussions.
- Confidence building relationships with prospects and maintaining engagement across longer sales cycles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to create a positive, credible impression in customer-facing settings.
- Good organisational discipline, including CRM hygiene, lead follow-up and opportunity management.
- The ability to work effectively with internal teams and manage smooth handovers from sale to delivery.
- Curiosity about customers, markets and the EV charging sector.
- Initiative, ownership and the ability to keep progressing opportunities without waiting for leads or prompting.
