What we are looking for :

We have a sought-after vacancy for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Paddington on a full-time basis. Based at our Paddington Showroom and reporting to both the National Sales and Development Manager and the National Commercial Projects Manager, you will represent the Jardan brand by consistently offering the highest standard of service to all clients.

What the role entails :

  • Grow project sales to achieve and exceed both personal and team targets
  • Support the broader team on budget goals
  • Lead and mentor state trade team, providing strategic advice and taking a leadership role in development
  • Championing new initiatives to improve business and grow sales
  • Work on a range of plans across residential, commercial and retail projects
  • Take a strategic approach to managing trade accounts
  • Provide prompt responses to both internal and external enquiries
  • Consult with Designers, Architects and end users on sales briefs
  • Develop and maintain warm and professional relationships
  • Day to day fielding of client enquiries, quoting, follow up of leads and maintain accurate pipeline
  • Ensure all activity is logged in the in-house CRM system
  • Project manage from order to delivery in conjunction with the Operations Team
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting on sales and activity to National Sales and Development Manager
  • Work in conjunction with the retail team to create a cohesive team environment
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, understanding the broader industry, market developments and monitoring what local competitors are doing
  • Prepare design presentations to clients, as required. Undertake site or HQ tours when required.
  • Participate in regular Sales Meetings and Commercial Strategy Meetings

We are looking for someone who has :

  • Previous sales experience and strong relationships with A&D market
  • Proven sales ability, ideally with the furniture/design industry
  • Strong initiative and autonomy in business management
  • Ability to build positive working report with all stakeholders
  • Computer literate with attention to detail
