Each space is a direct translation of how the furniture, homewares, art and lighting can exist in unison. From humble beginnings with only eight staff, we have now grown to a team nationwide of over 220 today.  

What we are looking for :

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Assistant Showroom Manager to join our Brisbane Showroom. Reporting to the Showroom Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day leadership of our showroom, inspire a small retail team, and help create an exceptional experience for every customer who walks through our doors. This role works to a set roster, including one weekend day. Part-time applications will be considered for the right candidate. 

What the role entails :

  • Contribute to establishing and growing retail sales to achieve personal and team budgets
  • Assist in engaging and motivating the team to achieve performance and development goals
  • Attend calendared sales meetings, as set by the National Sales and Development Manager
  • Assist with reviewing weekly activity reports and respond to management as required
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, an understanding of forthcoming customer initiatives and continually monitor local competitors
  • Day to day fielding of customer enquiries, quoting, and follow up
  • Build warm and professional relationships with all visitors including retail clients, Architects and Designers
  • Take a leadership role in championing new initiatives to improve business and grow sales
  • Assist in the development of sales budgets in consultation with peers and management
  • Assist in the roll out of Marketing and VM initiatives from HQ
  • Ensure the showroom meets VM guidelines at all times
  • Assist People and Culture with the recruitment of new staff and training and performance management, as required
  • Contribute to the process of performance reviews
  • Conduct regular analysis of sales figures and staff performance
  • Ensure standards for customer service are met

  • A strong eye for detail, styling, and spatial awareness
  • Confidence leading a team with empathy, clarity, and a hands-on mindset

  • Organised and proactive, with the ability to balance people, product, and process
  • An appreciation for sustainability and timeless design
  • Flexibility to support the rhythm of retail, including weekends
