We have multiple FIFO opportunities available for Electrical and Instrumentation Commissioning Supervisors, working with leading clients including Tier 1 Mining Companies.

  • Rosters 8:6 and 2:1

About the roles:

Join our team and play a key role in supervising the commissioning of a range of equipment and packages.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring commissioning plans are followed and ITR’s are completed meticulously, accurately and on time.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
  • Provide input into the development and management of the commissioning schedule.
  • Manage and approve / sign off of JHAs (Job Hazard Analyses) for commissioning-related tasks.
  • Provide guidance to team members
  • Actively promote a strong safety focus and ensure compliance with Intellect Systems’ & Client OHSE policies and procedures
  • Liaising with other disciplines and vendors

 

Essential Requirements

  • Current WA Electrical License (unrestricted)
  • Current LVR / CPR
  • S26 Training
  • Cert IV in Electrical – Instrumentation
  • WA White Construction Card
  • WA Drivers License (C Class)
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and D&A Screening
  • 3 Years + Commissioning experience (Mining, Oil & Gas or Heavy Industry)
  • 12 Months + Supervisory experience (Mining, Oil & Gas or Heavy Industry)
  • Ability to read and correctly interpret electrical drawings, P&ID’s and loop drawings
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

 

Highly Desirable

  • Rio Tinto, BHP, or FMG Inducted
  • Previously Schedule 26 or Section 44 Appointed Person
  • Experience with conveyor systems, crushers, pumps, motors, and associated field equipment.
  • High Risk Work Licence – EWP (WP)
  • Confined Space Entry & Gas Testing
