The Roles
SIL / Active Overnight Support Worker
Support individuals with high care needs — including overnight shifts — to live independently, safely, and on their own terms. In this role, you’ll:
- Provide overnight support and respond to needs as they arise, including personal care and manual handling (e.g. hoisting, positioning)
- Assist with medication management, meal preparation, and daily household routines
- Support participants to build independence and confidence in their own home
- Work as part of a rostered team to ensure consistent, high-quality overnight care
Ideal for: support workers who are calm under pressure, confident working independently overnight, and experienced (or keen to build experience) in high-support and complex-care settings.
Community Access Support Worker
Help participants engage with their community and the services that matter to them. In this role, you’ll:
- Support participants to navigate systems including NDIS plans, housing, mental health, and community services
- Provide practical assistance such as referrals, outreach, and transport coordination to appointments and activities
- Advocate alongside participants for fair and equitable access to support networks
- Build participants’ capacity for self-advocacy, confidence, and long-term independence
- Support social inclusion — helping participants connect, engage, and thrive in their community
Ideal for: support workers who enjoy being out in the community, are confident liaising with services and agencies, and are passionate about capacity-building rather than just day-to-day tasks.
What You’ll Bring
Required:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Current driver’s licence
Preferred (not essential):
- Cert III/IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
- A reliable, insured vehicle
- High-level support experience (e.g. hoisting, bowel care)
- Comfortable using apps and digital rostering/care tools
