Summary:

We are seeking a Level 2/3 Systems Engineer to join our consultancy team in Macquarie Park, New South Wales. This permanent, full-time role is crucial for delivering high-quality IT support and solutions to our healthcare clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems, contributing to the overall success of our organisation in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support for IT systems and infrastructure in a healthcare environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored IT solutions.
  • Implement and maintain system upgrades, patches, and security measures.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff members.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a systems engineering role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
