Operating under the Australian Paramedical College’s RTO registration (32513), we deliver the nationally recognised HLT37525 Certificate III in Pathology Collection, through flexible online learning, hands-on workshops and 35 hours of industry placement with leading pathology providers. Together, we prepare students with the practical skills and confidence they need to build rewarding careers in healthcare.

As demand for our program continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced and passionate Casual Trainer to help deliver exceptional learning experiences from our Melbourne campus in Noble Park. If you’re passionate about your profession and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others, this is a fantastic opportunity to inspire future pathology collectors while enjoying the flexibility of casual work.

About the Role

As a Casual Trainer, you’ll deliver engaging, hands-on workshops that bring learning to life. You’ll create a supportive and encouraging environment where students develop the practical skills and confidence needed to succeed in the workplace.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging, interactive face-to-face workshops.
  • Assessing students’ practical pathology collection skills.
  • Providing constructive coaching, guidance and feedback.
  • Supporting students throughout their learning journey.
  • Helping maintain high-quality training standards and student outcomes.

About You

You’re an experienced pathology professional who enjoys mentoring others and takes pride in helping people succeed. You’re collaborative, approachable and student-focused, with the ability to make learning practical, engaging and enjoyable. You bring energy to the classroom, value teamwork and aren’t afraid to share a laugh along the way.

The Must-haves!

  • A Certificate III in Pathology Collection (or higher qualification).
  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
  • At least three years’ recent industry experience in pathology collection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to deliver workshops on a casual, flexible basis.
