About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Picker
& Packer to join our Brisbane warehouse team.
The position offers approximately 20–30 hours per week,
depending on operational requirements. The role involves early-morning
starts and early finishes, making it suitable for someone who enjoys
beginning and completing their working day early.
You will help ensure customer orders are picked, checked and
packed accurately while maintaining high standards of food safety, stock
rotation and warehouse organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately
pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners
- Check
products, quantities, expiry dates and labels
- Apply
FIFO principles to ensure correct stock rotation
- Prepare
completed orders for dispatch
- Work
safely in chilled and frozen storage areas
- Report
damaged stock, discrepancies and quality concerns
- Maintain
clean, safe and organised work areas
- Follow
food safety, HACCP and workplace safety procedures
- Support
loading and other general warehouse duties when required
About You
- Previous
picking, packing or warehouse experience is preferred
- Reliable,
punctual and available for early-morning shifts
- Physically
fit and able to lift cartons weighing up to 25 kg
- Comfortable
working in chilled and frozen environments
- Strong
attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Able
to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good
communication and teamwork skills
- Basic
understanding of food safety or HACCP principles is advantageous
- Forklift
licence is advantageous but not essential
