The Role 

We’re looking for an experienced Integrated Logistics Support Manager to join a Defence satellite communications program based in Canberra. This is a great opportunity for a logistics and sustainment professional to lead ILS activities across the capability lifecycle, working closely with the Project Manager and engineering stakeholders.

You’ll operate with a high degree of independence, providing expert logistics advice while coordinating across multiple Defence organisations and external stakeholders to support capability readiness and long-term sustainment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and maintenance of ILS artefacts, governance processes and supportability products
  • Support transition-to-service activities and provide expert logistics advice
  • Contribute to project management activities including planning, risk management and reporting
  • Analyse complex logistics and sustainment issues and provide practical recommendations
  • Coordinate across multiple Defence organisations and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes

Required

  • Current NV1 security clearance
  • Demonstrated experience in Defence Integrated Logistics Support, logistics or sustainment management
  • Experience developing and managing Defence ILS documentation and logistics support analysis products
  • Strong understanding of Defence acquisition, sustainment and transition-to-service processes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work independently
