The Role

We are seeking an experienced Communications Capability Project Officer to support the delivery of a major Defence capability project. Working within an integrated team, you will assist with project planning, capability development activities, stakeholder engagement and the coordination of technical and project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project planning, coordination and delivery activities across the capability lifecycle.
  • Assist with capability requirements elicitation and analysis.
  • Engage with stakeholders to support solution planning and project outcomes.
  • Evaluate work package proposals and provide project support advice.
  • Contribute to governance, reporting and project management activities.

About You

  • Current NV1 Security Clearance.
  • Experience supporting Defence capability, communications or ICT-related projects.
  • Understanding of communication technologies and complex technical environments.
  • Knowledge of the One Defence Capability System and Defence project delivery processes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and issue management skills.
