Position Overview

As the Yard Person for Tamworth & Quirindi, you’ll play an important role in supporting our Service and Branch teams by maintaining the presentation of our yards, workshops, machinery and facilities. You’ll assist with moving equipment, deliveries, general maintenance and ensuring our branches remain safe, tidy and welcoming for customers and employees.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the workshop and yard
• Washing and detailing machinery, vehicles and equipment
• Moving stock, equipment and goods around the branch
• Assisting with deliveries and collections, including parts freight
• Completing tip runs and waste disposal activities
• Carrying out general yard and building maintenance, including mowing and grounds upkeep
• Supporting workshop operations as required
• Completing local deliveries and pickups
• Assisting with equipment preparation and presentation
• Escorting machinery and equipment when required
• Cleaning shared facilities including offices, lunchrooms, amenities and storage areas
• Reporting maintenance, safety or repair issues to management
